My Rules and Policies
- I only work with clients who are 18 or older. This isn’t just my policy; it’s State law. Even with parental consent, I cannot tattoo minors. Please be ready to provide valid state or federal photo ID to confirm your age. No exceptions.
- I do not allow anyone under 18 in the studio to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
- If you plan to pay with a card, keep in mind that banks sometimes block large transactions. Please have a backup payment method (cash or another card).
- To book an appointment, you’ll need to leave a deposit based on my rates.
- All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once the deposit is made, I begin work on your personalized design and prepare for your session. Preparation can take anywhere from 2 to 48 hours, depending on the complexity of your project.
- If you need to make changes to your appointment, please notify me at least 72 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If you cancel or don’t show up, your deposit will also be forfeited. You can reschedule once as long as you provide 72 hours’ notice. If you’re unable to attend your rescheduled appointment, a new deposit will be required.
- If you’re running late, please let me know. Arriving 30 minutes late without notifying me will be considered a no-show, and your deposit will be forfeited.
- Your deposit will remain as a guarantee throughout the tattoo process. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be held until the final session is completed.
- Appointments can be rescheduled up to 6 months after the initial deposit. If no reschedule is made within this time, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Your tattoo design will be based on the information and references you provided.
- I’ll show the design on the day of your appointment. Minor changes can be made that day. If significant changes are needed that require redrawing the entire design, it will be treated as a new project, and a new deposit will be required.
- In case of emergencies, your appointment can be rescheduled for the next available and mutually convenient time.
- I may stop the session and schedule another if necessary (e.g., time constraints, pain tolerance, or design changes).
- A second session can only be scheduled for the next day or after the tattoo has fully healed.
- Please avoid planning a vacation (including swimming and sunbathing) for at least 3 weeks after your session.
- Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before your appointment. If you arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, I will not proceed with the session, and your deposit will be forfeited.
- Avoid energy drinks and blood-thinning substances (like alcohol or ibuprofen) for 48 hours before your session.
- Before your appointment, I’ll ask you to sign a release form confirming that you are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or pregnant.
- Avoid tanning and tanning beds. Get plenty of rest and take care of your health before the session. A healthy body makes the process easier for both of us.
- If you have skin conditions or scars, a doctor’s note may be required to confirm that tattooing is safe for you.
- Make sure to eat before your appointment and stay hydrated.
- I may take a short break during your session to eat.
- Please silence your phone or turn it off before your session. Phone conversations are not allowed during tattooing. If there’s an emergency, let me know, and we’ll take a break.
- If you want to listen to music or watch videos during your session, please bring headphones to avoid distractions.
- No photo or video recording is allowed without my permission.
- Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
- No guests are allowed to wait in the studio during your session. Only the artist and the client are allowed in the work area, as this is required by sanitation safety regulations.
- Service animals are allowed in the waiting area but not in the tattooing area to maintain sanitation standards.
- I’m not responsible for the outcome if you fail to follow aftercare instructions.
- If another artist makes changes to your tattoo, I will no longer be responsible for touch-ups or continuing the project.
- Communication is important! If you have any questions before, during, or after your session, feel free to ask.
I encourage everyone to approach each interaction with respect, patience, and understanding. Our world is beautifully diverse, and we are fortunate to live in a country that celebrates people from different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions.
I am committed to fostering a positive and welcoming environment. Any form of aggression or discrimination—whether based on gender, race, religion, political beliefs, or any other reason—has no place here and will not be tolerated. I am open to everyone, and I strive to make every client feel valued and respected, regardless of their identity or beliefs.
Thank you for your understanding!
